What happens when I join the International Medical Writers Association?
When you join the International Medical Writers Association (IMWA), you will receive a welcome email from hello@imwa.online and you will be invited to a private unlisted group on LinkedIn with all fellow members of IMWA.
In the group you can speak to fellow medical writers, ask questions in a safe space, and get exclusive access to expert resources.
You can also vote on what happens at IMWA. For example, when would you like to have a virtual group chat? Or what skill would you like to learn next to help you in your career as a medical writer? And how would you like to learn that specific skill (as a course, a live webinar, or an ebook)?
You will receive emails with resources and also invitations to exclusive live webinars or office hours to network remotely (via a video call).
You can also suggest anything you would like within IMWA as it is a growing community and I am always open to suggestions to serve you the best way I possibly can 🙂

At IMWA we openly share our experiences and focus on educating each other, learning together, and giving each other the best chance of flourishing in our careers.
When I created IMWA in 2024, the vision was to build a strong community of medical writers as a support network, a place where your questions are answered, not ignored. I want people to learn new skills, feel connected and strengthen their career prospects so they have long and sustainable future as medical writers.
